3. Super SU. download it here
4. CWM for Tecno C8 ported by Hovatek download here 
5. SP Flash Tool. Download here

After getting all the listed files above let's see how you can install Vcomm drivers on your PC before proceeding 

How to install VCOMM driver on PC

1. Extract the downloaded software i.e. vcomm in the above link
2. Open Command Prompt by searching for cmd on the start
3. After opening command prompt type hdwwiz and press enter to open add hardware wizard or alternatively go to device manager and click action in the above tab , click add legacy hardware
4. After opening up add hardware wizard
5. click next and choose Advanced option and click next again
6. select 'show all devices' and click next again
7. Choose 'Have disk' 
8. Browse through your extracted Vcomm folder and select the driver setup file and click open
9. Choose Mediatek Preloader usb Vcomm driver and click install to install it

 How to Root Tecno Camon C8

1.  Save the SuperSU you downloaded above on your SD card
2.  Unzip the CWM zip file and flash the recovery image to the phone using SP flash tool, check here for excellent guide on how to flash the recovery.
3. After flashing the CWM zip file, boot the phone into recovery mode by using volume up + power button
4. in Clockworkmod recovery mode, you use the Volume up button to scroll up, Volume down button to scroll down and Power button to select
5. Scroll down to "install Zip' and select it
6. Select Choose zip from storage/sdcard1
7. Navigate to the location of SuperSu.zip and select it Usually on the root folder
8. Select Yes – Install SuperSU to confirm flashing
9. Wait till flashing is complete
10. Return to the home screen (using the back option) then select Reboot 
11. If CWM offers to help fix a missing Root, select No 
12. Confirm Root by installing and running Root Checker
13. That's it you have successfully rooted your Tecno Camon C8 with the Above step.
